How does our technology work?

Mine discovered that 90% of your digital footprint can be found by looking for traces of interactions with companies that you hold in your email’s inbox.

This is why we’ve built a non-intrusive technology that reconstructs your footprint by searching your email history.

Step 1

Mine's non-intrusive proprietary AI identifies traces of data interactions with companies by analyzing subject lines and metadata in the email inbox. It’s all "in-memory" so the email body is never processed and no emails are collected.

Step 2

Mine's AI then analyzes the companies’ privacy policies to determine the collected data type.

Step 3

Mine maps your digital footprint, calculates the risk score and provides recommendations.

We take security seriously

Privacy by Design

Our entire technological infrastructure is built on privacy by design principles including data minimization and encryption.

External security umbrella

We go beyond Mine's in-house security expertise and continuously validate our infrastructure and standards with the help of industry experts, an annual penetration audit and our bug bounty program.

 OAuth 2.0 Verified

We use OAuth authorization for a safer sign up process that allows users to give revokable permissions, without the need for passwords.
